Five arrested for parole violations

Six individuals were arrested Wednesday morning as part of a round-up by the U.S. Marshals, Kentucky Probation and Parole, KSP and the McCreary County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Randy Waters reports five people were arrested late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning as a result of a sweep by the United States Marshals Office, Kentucky Probation and Parole, the Kentucky State Police and the McCreary County Sheriff’s Office.
Autumn Stephens, 22, Christopher Shoopman, 35, and Beverley Risner, 51, were arrested on charges of parole violation and lodged in the Leslie County Detention Center. Stephens and Risner were also charged with counts of non-payment of fines.
Ameen Meer, 26, was arrested on a charge of contempt for apparent violation of a court order.
Christopher Davenport, 36, of Pine Knot was arrested on a failure to appear warrant and lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.
A sixth individual, Crystal Lewis, 48, was arrested as part of the operation and charged with public intoxication of a controlled substance.
