Summer storms roll through the county

Numerous summer storms rolled through the county this week with the most severe storm hitting on Tuesday. Tuesday’s storm caused trees down, a few roofs off and power outages. SKRECC responded to power outages in McCreary County Tuesday. With the Hilltop Circuit down, 866 members were affected in the area of HWY 1651 and surrounding roads.
