Inky goes on vacation

Most of our readers know Inky- the lovable character who hides within the pages of “The McCreary County Voice” each week hoping readers will find him tucked away amongst the stories of local news and events. Normally not one to complain, Inkie recently came to the office and told our publisher he was fed up with all of the recent Kentucky rain. Inkie demanded a vacation to sunny, dry Arizona and told us quite bluntly that he will not return to McCreary County until later this spring. During Inkie’s absence, we are pleased to announce “Bingo”-a new feature guaranteed to keep our readers’ eyes glued to our newspaper. Readers can get their bingo cards in the February 28 edition (or pick one up at our office). Beginning March 7, four bingo numbers will be hidden throughout each edition of the newspaper. With six cash prizes and three ways to win, our readers are sure to have fun reading the newspaper, and a lucky few will win some cash! Be sure to subscribe to “The McCreary County Voice” or pick up a copy at newsstands for your chance to play BINGO!
