Suspect on the loose

The Kentucky State Police is investigating a Thursday afternoon shooting.
Detective Billy Correll stated an unidentified victim had reportedly went to a Stearns residence to visit a friend. While there he was confronted by Jimmy Watson, 39, who shot at the victim with a shotgun – striking him in the face.
The victim and a witness managed to flee the scene, going to a local medical clinic where he were treated then airlifted to the University of Tennessee Medical center. The victim was released from the hospital the next day.
Police are seeking Watson, described as 5’9” and weighing approximately 200 pounds. A warrant for assault 1st degree has been obtained against Watson.
Detective Correll states if anyone spots Watson to not confront him, as he is considered dangerous, but to contact 911, the Kentucky State Police or the McCreary County Sheriff’s Department.
