McCreary Countians urged to “light it up” with holiday lights and decorations

McCreary County Tourism wants YOU to be part of a brand new, McCreary County, COVID-19 safe, holiday tradition. Tourism is challenging every business and resident in McCreary County to “Light It Up!” this holiday season by displaying lights and holiday decorations. It is hoped that lots of holiday lights and decorations will bring back the time honored tradition of families spending quality (and COVID-19 safe) time together as they drive throughout the County viewing holiday displays. Additionally, the best decorated business and home in McCreary County will receive a winner’s trophy.
To enter your home or business, just do the following:
Post a picture of your business/home on the original “Light It Up” announcement post on the McCreary Tourism Facebook page. Entries are due on December 18, and winners will be announced December 21, 2020.
Remember, in order to enter and be counted, all pictures must be posted on the original McCreary Tourism Facebook “Light It Up” announcement post.
