McCreary County Chamber of Commerce Officers Installed

During Tuesday’s swearing-in ceremony, McCreary Executive Judge Jimmie “Bevo” Greene swore in the 2021 McCreary County Chamber of Commerce officers and board members. This year’s officers are: Greg Burdine/Past President, Shane Gilreath/Vice-President, Crystal Ledbetter/Treasurer and Lacie Shelton/Secretary. Newly installed board members are: Michelle Perry, Bobby Strunk, Tracie Goodman, Rhonda Kenziorski, Missy Skinner, and Samantha Tapley. Past and exiting board members recognized during the installation ceremony were Holly Daugherty, Stephen Whitaker, Tim Corder, Jonathan Strunk, Mehg Marshall, and Pat Cash.
Sen. Max Wise to Participate in McCreary Co. Chamber of Commerce Virtual Town Hall Meeting
Senator Max Wise (R-Campbellsville) is set to participate in a Facebook Live virtual town hall meeting hosted by the McCreary County Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
The virtual town hall meeting will focus on discussions related to the upcoming 2021 Regular Session of the Kentucky General Assembly. Over the past several months, Sen. Wise and fellow lawmakers have spent their time preparing legislative priorities. Legislative Committee meetings have focused on Kentucky’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its various impacts on health and welfare, education, the state budget, and more.
“I am excited to join the McCreary County Chamber of Commerce for another town hall event. Speaking directly to citizens of the 16th Senate District is an important responsibility,” said Senator Max Wise. “2020 has brought many challenges. People understandably have questions and concerns right now, and they want their voices to be heard. I appreciate the local Chamber of Commerce for once again providing this platform of communication.”
Constituents of the 16th Senate District can watch the virtual town hall meeting on Tuesday, December 1 by visiting the McCreary County Chamber of Commerce Facebook Page. Discussions will begin at 5 p.m. EST. Questions can be submitted during the live broadcast.
Per the Constitution of Kentucky, the 2021 Kentucky General Assembly will convene on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
