Traffic stop leads to drug arrests

McCreary County Sheriff Randy Waters reported on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 Kentucky State Trooper Harrison Wells initiated a traffic stop with the assistance of Deputy Stuart Bryant. Two occupants were in the vehicle, both with outstanding warrants for their arrest. While identifying the occupants the officers noticed items in plain sight that led to additional charges being placed against both. Suspected drugs and a large amount of cash were found during the arrests.
Justin G. Eldridge, alias Bobby Eldridge, of Revelo, KY was arrested on three active warrants for his arrest and additionally was charged for the alleged offenses of Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd offense (methamphetamine), Trafficking in a controlled substance, 3rd degree, 1st offense, Possession of a controlled substance, 2nd degree, Drug paraphernalia-buy/possess.
Jessica L. Meadows of Williamsburg, KY was arrested on five active warrants and a criminal summons and was additionally charged for the alleged offenses of Possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense, Trafficking in a controlled substance, 3rd degree, 1st offense, Drug paraphernalia-buy/possess.
Eldridge and Meadows were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center. The Kentucky State Police is in charge of the investigation.
