The Carnival is Coming to Town

Carnival is scheduled for June 8-12.

The McCreary County Fair Board is pleased to announce the arrival of “Carnival Week” hosted by Casey’s Rides from June 8th through June 12th. The carnival will be open from 5:00-10:00 pm with a $10.00 per person admission fee at the Fairgrounds of the McCreary County Park.
There are several special events with entry fees required from participants. Special events scheduled thus far are as follows:
Tuesday Night-Honey Hill Farm Petting Zoo and Pony Rides (5:00-9:00 pm)
Thursday Night-Corn hole Tournament
Friday Night-Mud Bogs (Registration 5-7, begins at 7:00)
Saturday-Car Show and Swap Meet (1 pm-5 pm) and Mud Bogs (Registration 5-7, begins at 7:00.) There is a $15.00 entry fee per car for the car show and a $10.00 fee for the swap meet. Trophies will be awarded for Best of the Best, Second Runner Up, Peoples’ Choice, and The Person Who Drove the Farthest. First, second, and third place trophies will be awarded in the motorcycle category. For more information about the car show and/or swap meet, call Missy at 310-0658 or Bobby at 310-0266.
Vendors are also welcome. Vendors who wish to set up at the carnival need to call Michelle @ 310-9976. The fee for vendor set up is $25 per night or $100 for the week.
McCreary County Fair Board members are: Dan West, Michelle Ross, MaryAnn Walters, Missy Strunk, April Watson, Judi Hamm, Jake Tucker, Eddie Morgan, and Bobby Murphy.
