During a meeting on Monday, members of the McCreary County Park Board reversed their earlier decision to keep the Park’s splash pad closed this summer due to COVID-19.  Now, McCreary County youngsters will be able to cool off in the County Park’s splash pad seven days per week from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.  The splash pad opens this Saturday (June 19) and will remain open until the day after Labor Day.

Parents are reminded that the splash pad is a “play at your own risk” activity, and minors must be supervised when using the splash pad.  Toddlers and babies are required to wear swim diapers.  Frequent bathroom breaks and diaper checks are required.  Additional splash pad rules are posted at the site and must be followed for everyone to safely enjoy the splash pad.
