Three vehicle accident

The three vehicle accident pictured above occurred last week on US HWY 27 in front of Krogers in Whitley City. McCreary County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Tom Smith was in the parking lot across the road when the wreck occurred and saw the wreck happen. Officer Smith pulled over to the accident, checked on those involved, and requested EMS and Whitley City Fire Department. McCreary County EMS gave first aid at the scene and transported at least one individual to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. All subjects were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
