On Wednesday, hikers from Scott County, TN got more than just a pleasant hike

On Wednesday, hikers from Scott County, TN got more than just a pleasant hike to Princess Falls when one member of their group slipped on a wet embankment. The lady injured her ankle and knee and had to be carried out on stretcher for 1/2 to 1 mile by first responders. The National Park Service, US Forest Service, McCreary County EMS, Whitley City, Pine Knot, West McCreary Firemen and MCSO responded at the scene.
