Board of Education deals with routine matters

The McCreary County Board of Education met for routine matters during their regular June meeting. In actions by consent, the Board approved several items including the 2021 annual procedure updates, payroll calendar, KY Safe Driver Memorandum of Understanding, Save the Children agreement, and the Lake Cumberland Head Start full utilization agreement.
The Board also entered into closed session to conduct preliminary discussions relating to the Superintendent’s evaluation. Upon their return to open session, the Board adopted the summative evaluation of the Superintendent with a rating of 3.4 Accomplished/Exemplary on Standard 5 (Managerial Leadership) and 2.8 Developing/Accomplished on Standard 6 (Collaborative Leadership.)
The next meeting of the McCreary County Board of Education will be on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 6:30 PM at the Board’s Central Office.
