Paul E. Jones, a 1962 graduate of McCreary County High School, hosted a literary event at the McCreary County Library on Saturday. Jones is a Vietnam veteran and a published poet and author. His latest work is a novel entitled “A Rose Remains Forever.” Jones is a Mark Twain and Edgar Allan Poe enthusiast and portrays characters from their works at schools and theaters in northwest Ohio where Jones now lives. Jones is pictured above with his wife, Ruth, at Saturday’s event.
