Big South Fork Scenic Railway

On Monday, the Big South Fork Scenic Railway ran a special excursion train allowing local, state, and federal friends and officials to see the progress made on the railway and in Stearns.  Numerous people rode the train with its newly renovated cars and improved railway.  Among those attending were:  (left to right) Director Crystal Taylor, KY State Senator Max Wise, McCreary County Heritage Foundation Vice Chair JC Egnew, BSFNRRA Superintendent Niki Nicholas, McCreary County Judge Executive Bevo Greene, U.S. Congressman Hal Roger’s Field Representative Carlos Cameron, U. S. Senator Rand Paul’s Field Representative Bryan Mills, McCreary County IDA President Randy Kidd, and McCreary County Heritage Foundation Ray Moncrief.  U. S. Senator Mitch McConnell’s Field Representative, Donna Baker, also attended.
