Fire destroys unoccupied home

Firefighters from South McCreary (Pine Knot) Fire Department and Whitley City Fire Department responded to a structure fire in Pine Knot on Hwy 1651 on Monday night. The fully engulfed house was unoccupied and the quick response from the firemen prevented the fire from spreading to nearby homes. McCreary EMS stood by.
