Hoping to alleviate at least some traffic congestion, a turn lane from Raider Way to McCreary County Middle School has been completed.  With renovation of the Middle School, a traffic lane going behind and around the building will also be added.  Additionally, a second entry/exit road is included in the State 6 year road plan.  Morning traffic appears to have eased since schools began allowing student drop-off ten minutes earlier at 7:20.
