County has New Van Ambulances

McCreary County’s newest ambulances are on the road assisting McCreary Countians.  The two 2021 Dodge Ram 3500 Van Ambulances are used primarily for transporting patients to doctors’ offices, from hospital to hospital, etc. but are fully equipped with Advance Life Support (ALS) equipment including heart monitors, chest compression devices, etc.  EMS Director Jimmy Barnett noted the ambulances have already been used for some ALS runs.
