2022 Heritage Days

The McCreary County Extension Agency hosted their first annual Heritage Days with participants gaining skills and basic how-to knowledge related to our heritage.  Classes and demonstrations during the three-day event included:  calligraphy, soap pouring, basket-weaving, metal forging, stained glass, sewing (memory bears), painting, ceramics, embroidery, pioneer life, and more.  The 1st annual Heritage Days event was held in memory of a former McCreary County Extension Agent, the late Kathy Brannon.  The McCreary County Extension Agency is already making plans for Heritage Days 2023.
