Jimmy Lee Vaughn

Jimmy Lee Vaughn, age 58 years, 11 months, and 30 days, of Whitley City, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 in Somerset. He was born September 19, 1963 in Oneida, Tennessee to James Ernie Vaughn and Joann Gibson Vaughn. Jimmy was a self-employed auto mechanic and a member of the Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church.  He enjoyed fishing and family time. Funeral Services were held Thursday September 23rd, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. With Bro. Hilton Duncan officiating. Burial was in the Corder cemetery. Preceding him in death were his father, James Ernie Vaughn, his mother, Joann Gibson Vaughn Watson, his stepfather, Arnold Ray Watson, and a brother, Brian Gibson. Survivors include two son, William Vaughn and his wife, Rachel, of Pine Knot, and James Vaughn of Whitley City, grandchildren, Brooklyn, Jaylee, Nevayh, and Taghe, brothers, Ernie Logan Vaughn and his wife, Amanda, of Stearns, and Joseph Vaughn and his wife, Beverly, and special friends, Jerry McCoy, and Rodney Goins. Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Jimmy Vaughn.
