McCreary County Free Dump Days

Free bulk item drop-off at the old transfer station at 100 Caterpillar Drive in Stearns is scheduled for

Friday, October 14th from 8:00am until 4:00pm and

Saturday, October 15th from 8:00am until 12:00 noon.

 

The following guidelines are in place:

-Must have garbage service with Scott Solid Waste.

-Please bring a copy of your most recent bill for faster service.

-This is for large items: mattresses, old appliances, old furniture, swimming pools, bathtubs, etc.

-No tires, household garbage, or construction waste.

-No hazardous chemicals — paint, oil, etc. Old cans of paint are allowed if remaining space in cans is filled with cat litter.
