Phoenix racing team takes first

Saturday may have been an off day for the McCreary Central Cross Country Day, but you would have not guessed so by the number of runners that turned out to run as members of the Phoenix Racing team.

Not only did the Raider runners show up, they showed out by placing first overall as a team while picking up numerous individual medals along the way.

The Phoenix Racing Team has been instrumental in helping in the resurgence of both McCreary Central’s Cross Country and Track teams under the guidance of coaches Trevor and Missy Tucker over recent years.
