Spencer Charles Privett

Spencer Charles Privett 30 years old of Elkhart Indiana, passed away on Saturday Sept. 10, 2022. Spencer was born Sept. 17, 1991 in Whitfield, Ga. To Jerry and Delphi Jones Privett. Spencer was employed at Welch Packaging Group where he was a 2nd shift operator. Spencer enjoyed fishing and hanging out with his family and friends, and making people laugh and smile. He always lit up the room with something funny. Spencer is survived by his daughter Aaleyah Lyons whom he loved dearly; his fur babies Harley and Fatboy; father Jerry (Victoria) Privett of Kentucky; Delphi (Sonny) Stephens of Kentucky; brothers and sisters: Michael Privett of Kentucky; Mitchell (Nikki) Privett of Illinois; Grant (Katie) Privett of Indiana; Autumn Clark of Kentucky; Patty (Mark) Settles of Kentucky; Robin (Eric) Barnett of Kentucky; Ricky (Robin) Sellers of Kentucky; Cheyenne Privett of Kentucky; and a grandmother Nancy Privett of Kentucky; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, neices, nephews, cousins, and a very long list of family and friends that loves him dearly. Spencer is preceded in death by his step-dad Rick Brown, a brother Kenneth Brown, a niece Addison Privett, his maternal grandparents Rev. Charlie and Wanda Jones and paternal grandparent Rev. Alvis Privett. Spencer was cremated per his request. There will be a celebration of life Saturday, October 15th at the New Hope Baptist Church on Justice Mine Road in Stearns Kentucky. Visitation will be: Family at 9am, friends and others at 10 am. Service will be conducted by Rev. Janus Jones at 11 am. There will be a small dinner served at the church at noon. The visitation will conclude at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers the family request a donation be made to his daughter’s college fund. There will be information there with the contact persons information to make a donation in his honor. The family also request if you have a special memory with Spencer, please share your story to the provided notebook to be given to his daughter at a later date.
