4H students from Whitley City Elementary and McCreary County Middle School who had project entries at the Kentucky State Fair were recognized at the October Board of Education meeting: (not in order) Laiken Taylor, Mackenzie Shannon, Adalynn Hubbard, Kaylee Renfro, Kassidi Ball, Natalee Kennett, Sundae-Grace Spradlin, Maddie Vanover, Shaelyn Watters, and Johannah Hamlin.  All received some type of ribbon, with seven 1st place projects and five 2nd place place projects.
