Thanksgiving dinner came a bit early for more than 1,750 people who enjoyed this year’s annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner hosted by The Lord’s Cafe.  Each year, Crossroads Community Baptist Church and volunteers invite everyone to feast on a Thanksgiving dinner of turkey/ham and all the trimmings.  The meal is provided at no cost to those who attend although donations are welcome.  With heaping plates and the tantalizing aroma of homemade yeast rolls in the air, it was obvious that everyone enjoyed the event.
