McCreary County’s VFW Charles E. Moore Post 5127 Commander Garry J. Galloway and Sam D. Perry, Adjutant, presented first place annual awards during the VFW’s recent Christmas Dinner. Lillian G. Fee is the recipient of this year’s“Voice of Democracy” award, and Joah Mills is the recipient of the “Patriot’s Pen” award. Lisa Gilreath is the VFW’s Teacher of the Year. Starlin Perry is the oldest VFW member.
