Jacob Doyle Watson

Jacob Doyle Watson, age 25 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Monday, December 12, 2022 at Whitley City, Kentucky. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on August 23, 1997 the son of Frankie Doyle Watson and Bessie Eileen (Kirk) Watson. Jacob had worked in construction and was a member of the Pleasant Rock United Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. His father, Frankie Doyle Watson and grandfather, Dean Watson precede him in death. Survivors include his mother, Bessie Watson of Batavia, Ohio; sons, Frankie Jimmie Doyle Watson of Whitley City, Kentucky and Alex Vaughn Bailey of Ripley, Ohio; sister, Sarah Hamilton (Ryan) of Batavia, Ohio; grandparents, Billy Bellamy (Curtis) of Georgetown, Ohio and Mamie Watson of Pine Knot, Kentucky; and nieces and nephews, Aiden Starrett, Lylee Starrett, and McKenna Starrett. Funeral services were held 2pm Friday, December 16, 2022 at the McCreary County Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Pine Knot Cemetery. The family received friends after 12pm Friday at the Funeral Home. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
