We are excited to announce that we will be offering a Kentucky Extension Master Gardeners training program in McCreary County beginning January 2023!
The Kentucky Extension Master Gardener Program (KEMG) is affiliated with the Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service. The program is active in several Kentucky counties, and recruits and trains volunteers to assist county Extension agents in delivering horticulture education in their counties.
To become a certified Master Gardener, trainees must complete an application (including back-ground check), attend educational classes, pass an exam, and complete 40 hours of approved volunteer service.
