Make plans to join organizers and health care businesses and organizations at the McCreary County Public Library (MCPL) for their Community Health Fair on Saturday, January 7th, 2023 from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
The event is free and open to the community, individuals, and families. Various businesses and organizations will offer a variety of health screenings, including blood pressure screenings, lung function, blood draws for cholesterol, glucose and more. The MCPL Health Fair will assist individuals with information about both physical and mental health.
Many community resource agencies will be on hand to answer questions and provide valuable information on how to start 2023 off right with a new healthy mindset!
Door prizes, give-a-ways, snacks and more will also be offered throughout the health fair.
Some of the businesses and organizations in attendance and offering guidance and health screenings include: American Cancer Society, Applied Behavioral Advancement, Horizon Adult Health Care, HANDS, Sydney King Massages, Lifeline, Whitley Family Medical, Aerocare Home Medical Equipment, Family Dental of Ky, Adanta, McCreary County EMS, McCreary County Health Dept, Kynect, Kristina’s Kitchen, McCreary County Extension, Meditation with Olivia, Exercise Benefits with Kim Harmon, and Whitley City Shaolin School of Martial Arts. In addition, more businesses and organizations are being added daily
