McCreary County can be proud of one of its own who spent his Christmas holiday in Buffalo, NY, helping folks get power back after a massive winter storm. Pictured as part of a group of Kentucky lineman who went to New York to assist during the storm is Brad Coffey , a veteran lineman of 25 years from Stearns, KY. Coffey has worked locally with RECC and is currently employed by Davis Elliot Company. Thankful to be able to help, all of the Kentucky group missed Christmas with their families to help others through the storm. Coffey proves, as everyone in McCreary County and Kentucky already knows, “Not all heroes wear capes-some wear Carhartts and boots!” Coffey is pictured 4th from the right.
