Kentucky State Police (KSP) Trooper Eubanks and an explosive detecting KSP K9 named Dak searched the McCreary County Courthouse on Monday (1-9-22) after a bomb threat was received via telephone in the Child Support Office of the Courthouse. An evacuation of the courthouse was ordered and remained in effect until the search was completed and the courthouse was deemed safe. Law enforcement officials are working the case. KSP, McCreary County Sheriff’s office (including courthouse security), and Emergency Management responded to the incident.
