Rita Faye Heath

Rita Faye Heath, age 66 years, of Burnside, Kentucky died surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at her home. She was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on March 31, 1956 the daughter of Estes Dee and Katherine (Bolin) Stanton. Rita had worked as a prep cook and was a member of the Blue John Bethel Church. Doing yard work, planting flowers, taking care of her cats, and spending time with her grandson was the enjoyments of her life. Her parents; brothers, Stanly Monroe Stanton and Morgan Bolin; and sister, Bonnie Lou Baker precede her in death. Survivors include her husband, Roger “Hillbilly” Heath of Burnside, Kentucky; daughter, Theresa Henderson (William) of Burnside, Kentucky; brothers, Dale Stanton of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Henson Stanton of Revelo, Kentucky; and Earl Dean Stanton of Burnside, Kentucky; and grandson, Isaiah Brown. The family was grateful for the care of Hospice of Lake Cumberland during her final days. Funeral services were held 1pm Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Buddy Barnett officiating. Burial followed in the Heath Family Cemetery. The family received friends after 6pm Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the Funeral Home. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
