SOMERSET, – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that old KY 92 in McCreary County will be closed at two points starting Monday, March 6, as part of the ongoing KY 92 realignment project.
Old KY 92 will be closed to through traffic at the following locations:
-KY 1044 (mile point 6.7) to Pleasant Run Church Road (mile point 6.9)
-Edna Haynes Road (mile point 7.9)
Motorists will detour via KY 1470 and Pleasant Run Church Road to access new KY 92.
The closure is expected to last approximately 4 weeks.
The date and duration of the closure may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays.
