Janet Sue Wilson

Janet Sue Wilson, age 66 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at her home. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on July 26, 1956 the daughter of Theodore and Mildred (Vanover) Bryant. Janet was a registered nurse working for Lake Cumberland Home Health as Regional Supervisor and at McCreary County Health and Rehab. She enjoyed cooking, reading, being outdoors, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Janet was known for her contagious laugh. Her parents and brother, Daniel Theodore Bryant precede her in death. Survivors include her husband, Denver Clyde Wilson of Stearns, Kentucky; son, Preston King of Pine Knot, Kentucky; daughter, Michelle Barnett and husband, Jimmy of Stearns, Kentucky; brother, Wayne Bryant and wife, Jean of Georgetown, Kentucky; sisters, Debra Kay Cash and husband, Teddy of Burnside, Kentucky, Wanda Hamlin of Stearns, Kentucky, and Beverly Bryant and husband, Greg of Hamilton, Ohio; and grandchildren, Cody King, Liam Kidd, and Laney Kidd. Funeral Services were held 2pm Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Alan Coffey and Bro. Rufus Hughes officiating. Burial followed in the Lower Hickory Grove Cemetery. The family received friends after 11am Saturday at the Funeral Home. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
