Hudy Goins, age 58 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died Sunday, March 19, 2023 at his home. He was born in Marshes Siding, Kentucky on March 27, 1964 the son of Marvin and Purlina Jane (Caldwell) Goins. Hudy had worked for the McCreary County School System as a Custodian. Fishing, riding his motorcycle, spending time with friends and grandchildren was his favorite past times. His parents and brother, Donald Goins precede him in death. Survivors include his wife, Lisa (Ridner) Goins of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sons, Josh Goins and wife, Amy of Stearns, Kentucky and Dustin Goins and wife, Katelynn of Whitley City, Kentucky; brothers, David Goins and wife, Doris and Dewayne Goins both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sisters, Wilma Ridner and Wanda Goins both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Adeline Goins, Alyssa Goins, and Landry Goins. Funeral services were held 2pm Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Tyler Longsworth and Bro. John Goodin officiating. Burial followed in the Mill Creek Cemetery. The family received friends after 12pm Tuesday at the Funeral Home. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
