KY 1045 in McCreary County to be Temporarily Closed Beginning Thursday

SOMERSET – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 8 Office advises motorists that beginning Thursday, June 8, a portion of KY 1045 in McCreary County will be closed to through traffic for a bridge replacement project.
Starting Thursday, KY 1045 will be closed to through traffic at mile point 5.55 (Cogur Fork of Indian Creek) which is located 2.5 miles southwest of KY 700.
During the closure motorists will used the signed detour routes via KY 90 and U.S. 27.
Work is expected to be completed by Aug. 1.The starting date and duration of the closure may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays.
